Raise Leadership Conference is all about what is says on the tin – raising our game!
As John Maxwell says, ‘Everything rises and falls on leadership’, so as leaders it is vital that we are committed to not staying as we are today but committed to becoming a better us tomorrow. Raise is designed to challenge, equip and inspire leaders from across the UK to help build great churches throughout our nation.
Hosted by Everyday Champions Church, a multi-site church in the heart of the UK, we are excited to introduce the first-ever Raise into the heart of England. Our guest speakers are part of two of the most influential churches in the UK, and they are guaranteed to impart a mixture of wisdom, leadership keys and direction into your life. Gary Clarke is the senior Pastor of Hillsong Church London and Stephen Matthew is the associate Pastor at Abundant Life Church in Bradford.
The date of Raise is Saturday 26th May kicking off at 10am and running through to 5pm. Registration opens from 9.30pm. We are so looking forward to welcoming you to Everyday Champions and being part of Raise 2012!

Lead Pastor (Hillsong Church, London)
Gary Clarke is the lead Pastor of Hillsong Church London, a thriving and expansive church in the heart of the UK’s capital, and of its additional locations in Surrey, Kent, Amsterdam and Ireland.
An inspiring preacher and teacher, Gary is committed to helping people gain a genuine revelation of the message of Jesus Christ and His Church. He is passionate about seeing people live in all that God has for them, and empowering them to practically reach and impact their day-to-day world.

Associate Pastor (ALC, Bradford)
Stephen Matthew is a gifted Bible teacher who has been actively involved with the Abundant Life Church since its inception. He and his wife Kay have served on the Pastoral team for nearly 30 years.
Except for a six-year period during which Stephen worked for a Midlands-based Bible college and ministered more widely, he and Kay have served alongside Pastors Paul and Glenda Scanlon, and assisted them to establish the thriving church of which they are associate Pastors today. The communication of truth with clarity is Stephen’s passion, which is reflected in his practical, insightful and equipping teaching style.
Stephen brings his teaching, training and Pastoral skills to the Abundant Life Ministries team at a wide range of levels including being principal of the Abundant Life Leadership Academy and is executive editor of Abundant Life Publishing.
He launched the ‘Abundant Life Skills’ series of Bible study books recently and has published three titles so far: Battle for the Mind; Money Matters and Bringing the Bible to Life – which is his passion!

Raise 2012 is being hosted at Everyday Champions Centre in Newark. Located in the heart of the UK just off the M1, our Newark campus has seating for up to 500 people, and for all you coffee lovers is complete with its very own Starbucks.
